1. Information We Collect

CodeAds collects minimal information necessary to operate the ad marketplace:

• IDE usage data: We track when AI completions are in progress to serve ads. We do not log your code, prompts, or AI responses.
• Extension metadata: Machine ID, extension version, and IDE type.
• Account information: Email address, display name, and OAuth provider identifiers when you create an account.
• Payment information: Stripe handles all payment processing. We do not store your credit card or bank details.

2. How We Use Information

• To serve ads during AI completion wait times
• To calculate and distribute revenue share payments
• To provide aggregate statistics to advertisers
• To improve ad targeting and delivery performance

3. Data Sharing

We share impression and click counts (not individual user data) with advertisers. We never sell your personal data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; see their privacy policy for details.

4. Data Retention

Impression and earnings data is retained for the life of your account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting [email protected].
